Thunder Bay Family Medicine Scholarship

The Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) is proud to provide family medicine residents in their first year of residency with a one-time scholarship of $500.

Eligibility:

All residents in Year 1 of the Thunder Bay stream of Northern Ontario School of Medicine’s (NOSM) Family Medicine program are eligible.
Residents in Year 1 of a Family Medicine residency program at a Canadian medical school that is not NOSM’s Thunder Bay stream must have completed either
- High school in Thunder Bay (transcript required)
- NOSM’s MD program at the Thunder Bay Campus (proof of graduation required)

To Apply:

Complete and submit the application form below and include necessary documentation.

Deadline: Family Medicine residents must submit an application within six (6) months of starting their family medicine residency program
