Local Organizations that Provide Training in Thunder Bay
Anishinabek Employment and Training Services partners with local businesses to provide training to First Nation Citizens.
This grant provides financial assistance to employers who are investing in training for their employees.
This board connects community partners with the mission of improving quality of life through workforce development. They provide research into Thunder Bay’s labour market and work with local businesses and organizations to create strategic plans and projects to address the specific needs of the local labour market. NEW provides services to help businesses in Thunder Bay with hiring and training their employees. View their calendar of upcoming workshops.
This centre provides business support for new and existing businesses. They provide assistance through networking, mentorship, help with finding funding, training employees and providing business expertise. The Thunder Bay & District Entrepreneur Centre is funded through a partnership between the Province of Ontario and the City of Thunder Bay. We help you determine what you need to do before, during and after launching your business. The Entrepreneur Centre also provides free training and workshops to entrepreneurs.
YES Employment Services is a non-profit, charitable, community-based organization. They represent community services, business, and labour as well as education and training locally. YES offers workshops to assist you with all aspects of your job search.
