2026 Employer-Led Rural Community Immigration Pilot Program is now Open

The Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) has officially launched the second year of the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP), an employer-driven initiative designed to strengthen workforce attraction and retention by providing a streamlined immigration pathway for skilled workers.

Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) Pilot

The Thunder Bay CEDC was pleased to have participated in the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot in 2025. Please note that the pilot ended on December 31, 2025 and is currently closed for applications.
